When I heard that TV5 will make a local adaptation of my favorite U.S. TV series Pretty Little Liars, I got mixed emotions. Honestly, I was surprised and a little bit scared because there's a lot of what-ifs going on my mind. I don't want to think negatively and I'm really hoping that they can maintain the reputation of the original. You know, the amazing combination of mystery, suspense, teen drama and romance, the crazy twists and turns, the breathtaking scenes, the OMG & WTF moments, and most especially the countless conspiracy theories that will make the viewers have sleepless nights.
TV5 already cast its lead characters: Sophie Albert as Aria, Chanel Morales as Hanna, Stephanie Rowe as Emily, Danielle Lee as Spencer, and Valeen Montenegro as Alison. It will air this April 2014, no exact date yet. I hope they can do justice with their characters so that the Filipino viewers of the original series will not be disappointed. Fingers crossed!!!
Now its my turn to create my PLL PH dreamcast and I chose actors and actresses from GMA-7 because I think they fit the character well. Enjoy reading!
